If you're just looking to fill your stomach and aren't too picky, this place will do the job, though it's a bit overpriced for what you get. However, if you're after fresh, quality Japanese food, you'd be better off going elsewhere.
We ordered sashimi, nigiri, sushi rolls, soup, and gyoza. The fish lacked freshness, and the sushi rice was overcooked and wet. My spicy tuna roll turned out to be an avocado roll with a few thin slices of tuna on top. The gyoza was very oily and clearly frozen and reheated. The miso soup was especially disappointing—nearly $4 for a weak, watered-down broth with only two bits of seaweed.
Given the location, I expected better. Wouldn’t recommend it if you’re looking for a satisfying sushi experience.
